How it Work

Obtaining the VIN Code

  • Description: The VIN code (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code that identifies a specific vehicle. This code can be found on various parts of the car (under the windshield, on the door pillar, in the documents, etc.).
  • Action: The customer enters the VIN code on the website or in the application of the service.
  • Description: At this stage, the system checks whether the entered VIN code complies with standards and contains the correct number of characters.
  • Action: The system checks the VIN code’s structure according to international standards (ISO 3779).
  • Result: If the code is incorrect (insufficient characters or invalid symbols), an error is displayed.

VIN Code Validation

  • Description: If the VIN code is valid, the system sends requests to various databases that store vehicle information.

Accessing Databases

  • Action: Requests can include:
  1. National databases (DMV, local traffic authorities).
  2. International databases (e.g., Carfax, AutoCheck).
  3. Insurance companies.
  4. Auction and dealership databases.

Collecting Vehicle Information

  • Description: The system gathers all available information from the queries. This may include:
  1. Registration history (when and where the car was registered).
  2. Accident history.
  3. Odometer readings.

4. Service history.
5. Insurance claim information.
6. Data on encumbrances (e.g., liens).

7. Checks for theft or salvage status.
8. Information on previous owners.
9. Current status (active, deregistered, dismantled, etc.).

Data Analysis and Processing

  • Description: After receiving the data, the system analyzes it and checks for critical issues (accidents, damage, odometer tampering, etc.).
  • Action: The data is processed, and a vehicle report is generated.
  • Result: The data is organized into a user-friendly format.

Report Generation

  • Description: Based on the gathered data, a report is created, containing all the available information about the inspected vehicle.
  • Action: The system displays or sends the user a complete report with all the details discovered via the VIN code.
  • Description: The client gains access to the report through their personal account on the website or via email.
  • Action: The report includes:
  1. Basic vehicle information (make, model, year of manufacture).
  2. Accident and repair history.
  3. Previous ownership details.
  4. Odometer readings.
  5. Other important factors.

Providing the Report to the Client

Recommendations (if necessary)

  • Description: Based on the analysis of the report, the user may be provided with recommendations for further actions, such as whether to proceed with the purchase or conduct additional checks.
  • Action: The user receives recommendations (e.g., consult a lawyer or mechanic for additional inspections).
